Our nursery is staffed with professional, caring adults who provide a safe and secure environment conducive to the child’s physical, social and spiritual growth. Parents can enjoy the worship service without distraction and with a sense of security, knowing that their babies, toddlers and preschoolers are well-cared for. At Connection Church, we consider the nursery to be an important area of ministry, both to the parent and the child.
Our Team
Our supervisors and volunteers are highly qualified and continually trained according to daycare, proficient standards. Background criminal checks are conducted on every volunteer over age 18.
Facilities & Equipment
Facilities & equipment are extremely important! Great care is taken to keep everything clean and sanitary. Safe and up-to-date, age-appropriate equipment and toys are sterilized before each service.
Communication
COMMUNICATION with Parents is vital! Our pager call system notifies parents in the adult sanctuary if their child needs them. Children are only released from class to parents with a corresponding number-tag.
Training for ALL Nursery Workers
We conduct a “Nursery Worker Orientation” that includes an explanation of expectations, discipline policies, information on child development, information on fire and emergency procedures, and training in infant CPR.
We also have regularly scheduled orientations and refresher courses.

Children are a gift from God…and God has entrusted us with their care and nurture. It is said that “it takes a whole village to raise a child” and we, as the Body of Christ at Connection Church, believe that “it takes a whole congregation to nurture a child in faith.”
Health Standards
It is our prayer that all of our children are in good health at all times. However, when symptoms are present, bringing children to church and having them around other children is unfair to both your child and the other children. Please do not bring your child to the nursery if he or she is displaying signs of sickness.
