Our Pastor
Archie Neal - Lead Pastor/Teaching Pastor:Hi, I’m Archie Neal and I’m the Lead Pastor of Connection Church. I am primarily responsible for the overall leadership of the church and for the teaching on Sunday. I have a passion to see people reach their full potential and realize their highest purpose.
The Basic Stuff:I was born and raised in Bolivar, Missouri, a small town in the southwest part of the state. In 1975 I moved to Paris, Tennessee where I met my wife, Sheila. We’ve been married since April 1976 and have three grown children and seven grandchildren. (I know that makes me sound old, but actually we just started young.)
Connection Church is the second church my wife and I have planted. The first one, New Life Christian Center, is in Danville, Illinois. We started New Life in December 1980 and served as pastors there until January 2006. New Life is an awesome church, filled with tremendous people, who we will always love and consider a part of our extended family.
In June 2006, in a response to what we knew to be God’s calling, we moved to the O’Fallon area to plant Connection Church. From the outset, our dream has been to establish a life-giving, contemporary church where people can connect with God and His purpose for their lives. We want every service to be an experience that people find enjoyable, practical, and life-changing.
